Dr. Hooper is a native to Virginia and the Virginia Beach area. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from James Madison University then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA where he graduated Magna cum lade. His love for learning and the dental field didn’t stop there. He went on to complete a Post Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Missouri at Kansas City and soon after got involved in the dental community as an international speaker and published author.
Dr. Hooper lectures internationally at major meetings, including ADA, Hinman, Greater New York, California, Virginia, Yankee, & UBC. He is an active member of the O.R.U. Dental Honor Fraternity – Phi Kappa Phi, the Editorial Board of Dental Product Shopper and is a former Associate Clinical Professor MCV/VCU.
Dr. Hooper provides general & cosmetic dentistry with special areas of interest including cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and full mouth smile makeovers.
Dr. Hooper values continued education and sharing his experience with the dental community. He is a published author and national speaker!
Dr. Hooper is the proud father of three young adult children. The Hooper family loves to attend the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival each year to see what the boardwalk and awesome Virginia Beach community has to offer.Â
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Hooper with his family taking advantage of the east coast life, boating and traveling!
